Beckham influencial as Real beat Bayern 3 - 2
Beckham set up two as Real Madrid beat Bayern Munich in a great Champions League encounter. Beckham setup Real's second and third with a corner and freekick respectively.
Capello has recently voiced his opinion that McClaren should follow his lead by bringing back Beckham to a squad from which he had been dropped.
Beckham has also been quoted recently as saying
My ambition has never changed since the age of 13, even younger, I always wanted to play for my country, and I always will.
I will always be available whether I'm in Spain, for the next four months, or whether I'm in LA.
I will always want to do well for my country.

I remember being a supporter of Beckham through this site a couple of years ago...great to see him back in the starting line up tonight. Roll on the world cup, then who knows?
