The Bring Back Beckham website is dedicated to getting David Beckham recalled to the England squad for the Euro 2008 qualifiers. It's time for Steve McClaren to listen to people power and Recall Beckham to the England Squad. Simply click on the "Vote" button and fill in a few details to help "Bring Back Beckham!"
The Bring Back Beckham website was created by Phil Leggetter on the 8th of October 2006 following England's very poor 0-0 draw with Macedonia in a Euro 2008 qualifier match at Old Trafford. The site was designed to be high impact and have it's content created form of comments from users, quick to the point news articles and articles sent in via e-mail.
Over the first two weeks the Bring Back Beckham website obtained 30,000+ page impressions and over 10,000 votes were made. Since then things have been a bit quiet in terms of visits to the website but now (25 May 2007) things are heating up again.
Since our website has been up England have played a few games, and played poorly, Beckham has decided to move to L.A. Galaxy, he's been dropped by Real and then recalled, he's been close to an England recall (maybe) but then got injured and now Becks is back fighting fit, playing well and knocking on Steve McClaren's door again.
